Lucky Duck Search in Western New York Begins Tomorrow
This is going to be fun! Starting tomorrow, August 1 through August 14, there is going to be a Western New York yellow rubber duck scavenger hunt.
These police agencies will all take part in the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt where there will be a total of 36 ducks to find: Lancaster Police Department, Depew Police, Town of Tonawanda Police, Cheektowaga Police, Orchard Park Police and West Seneca Police Departments!
Now, each duck you will want to take a picture, even share it on social media using the hashtag #LuckyDuckPD. Now, each polcie department has different locations to find the ducks. For example, you can see all 6 parks that will each have one duck at in West Seneca. If you find the one West Seneca Police lucky duck, you will be entered to win a prize! (They don't exactly know what they are giving away just yet, though).
Very important directions and info below from West Seneca and you can find more info about your town's duck hunt on their individual pages. Whatever you do, DO NOT take the ducks and don't touch them as well (remember....COVID). It is going to be a great Saturday to kick off the search for you and the kids, so get a head start. The contest rolls all the way through mid-August.
"DO NOT REMOVE any of the ducks from their hiding spots!! Take a photo, scan the attached QR code with your phone, and post to the event page or here on our page", according to the West Seneca Police Page.
