Luke Bryan Talked Buffalo Bills Mafia + The Place Went Insane
Luke Bryan was here in Western New York over the weekend and it was an absolute riot. It was fun to watch people have fun again. During his hour and forty-five minute set at Darien Lake on Saturday night, he stopped to talk about the Buffalo Bills. When he started talking about the Buffalo Bills, the crowd went absolutely insane. Jim Kelly, was also in the crowd and Luke knew it so, it almost seemed like Luke was catering it as he looked in Kelly's direction. (Side note: Jim Kelly is good friends with people in country music, including Tim McGraw, Jake Owen and Luke.)
"I am so happy for y'all. I mean, you all had....you all had a little....dip. But, the Buffalo Bills are back. I watched y'all on Barstool Sports like, jumping off them f****** RV's and jumping on the tabletops and s****. Yeah, the Bills Mafia, I get it. Hey really y'all make, you make America Look Great Again. Like, let me jump out of a helicopter onto a church table, all right. This is my brand new single, this one's called Waves. I love you Buffalo."'
For a second I thought: "I can't believe he swore a few times", but it did not matter--the place erupted in cheers. Someone had a brand new Buffalo Bills Mafia shirt, with the tags on and everything, and a little while after Luke was done talking about the Bills, they tossed him the shirt--and he just knew what to do. You have to check out the video here.
Luke's set went on from 9:15 to 11 o'clock and while people waited out in the parking lot for hours like usual, it seemed as though nobody minded....as concerts were officially back at Darien Lake
