As a father, there are three things I wanted to instill in my children: 1) Always be polite. 2) Know how to swim well. 3) Always practice safe firearms handling. Some folks obviously did NOT grow up with someone like me. I have had a license to carry a pistol for over 23 years and so does my wife. It's something we take very seriously. My family practices safe firearms handling.  It's the ONLY way to go. If you can't be responsible, then you have no business owning a gun. As I have told my children since they were very little, "You can never get a bullet back, so ALWAYS use your head".

A man in Arizona found out the hard way when you don't use your brain when carrying a firearm.
