Marine Corps Sergeant Dennis Emke Is Today’s Hometown Hero!

It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Keller Chevrolet and Batavia Downs gaming.  This Week’s Hometown Hero is originally from Lockport, NY.  He serves our country proudly in the United States Marine Corps.  It’s 25-year-old Sergeant Dennis Emke.

Dennis joined the Marine Corp in 2008 when he was a senior in high school and he has been in now for a little over 7 years. He is a Motor T Mechanic. Some of the places he has served include Japan, the Philippines and Afghanistan. He sacrifices a ton for his job, especially precious family time. Dennis is married to his wife Michelle and has 2 beautiful children, one of them is 2 and another who is just about to turn 1. It said in his nomination that "Dennis is a very humble person and doesn't like to talk about his accomplishments in the Marine Corp but his family knows everything he does and is very proud of him.

We want to say thank you to Dennis for his service and to everyone who is serving our country and keeping us free. We are proud to call Dennis Emke our Hometown Hero of the week.
