Massive Upgrades To Western New York’s Favorite Beach

Western New York has some incredible beaches and there is one that has been named the favorite and it just got an upgrade.

Being neat one of the Great Lakes offer so many great things but one of them is being able to see the amazing sunsets over the water and enjoying the cool waters on a hot day.

Crews have been busy at Woodlawn Beach!

What Are The Changes?

For the last few months, if you drive along Route 5, you may have seen some work being done at Woodlawn State Park. There have been some renovations planned and as the summer starts, you can see them up close!

According to multiple reports, and a story from our news partner in Buffalo, millions of dollars were used to get the beach and park some upgrades.

Channel 4 mentioned that: "A total of $1,960,310 was used for improving bike racks, benches, toll booths, signage, lighting and landscaping. All of the bathrooms’ fixtures, finishes and partitions were replaced, along with new foot-washing stations, for $280,130".
