Mayer Brothers Celebrates Their 165th Year As New Season Starts

It's that time of the year when summer is winding down and we start to look to fall! We always know we're close when the folks from Mayer Brothers deliver us fresh apple pie and cider to the studio. We look forward to it every year.

This year is just another milestone for them, they are celebrating 165 years! The business began in 1852 when Jacob Mayer purchased a building on the corner of Seneca Creek Rd and Transit. The building still stand today and has been converted to "quaint Cider Mill & Bakery. The building is listed in the National Registry of Historic Sites and is a notable stop for locals in the area.

The Cider Mill & bakery is now open for the season and you can stop by to shop and smell the wonderful aromas of apple cider and fresh backed apple pies!

The Cider Mill & Bakery will be open everyday through Thanksgiving.
