If you were using food stamps to get by and then won $1 million in the lottery, would you continue to take advantage of public assistance?  That's exactly what 24 year old Amanda Clayton is doing after winning big in the Michigan State Lottery.

Angry yet?  She won $1 million dollars but still feels she has the right to use the $200 provided by you the taxpayers because she doesn't work.  I gotta admit, sounds like the good life, get everything for free and not work for it.  Sounds awesome.  Unfortunately, that's not how life is supposed to work.  Or at least, that's not how I was raised.

I thought that they would cut me off, but since they didn't, I thought maybe it was OK because I'm not working," Clayton, 24, told Local 4 news in Detroit.

She goes on to say that she didn't even really win $1 million.  She took the lump sum of that which turned out to be around 700 thousand.  Then after taxes was around half of the million.  Plus she takes the money because she has bills.  She has two houses.  Well...maybe sell one?  I can't speak for everyone but that amount of money would set me up nicely financially.

It just outrages me that there are people out there that need help.  I get it.  But, people like this who don't need the help but still take advantage it make me sick.
