The Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which requires only one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is stopped distribution of the vaccine.

Future shipments have been delayed or put on hold because at the plant in Baltimore, 15 million doses were affected when the ingredients were mixed up!  Even with the mix up though, Johnson & Johnson officials say they do plan on getting out 100 million more doses of the single-shot vaccine in the next few months!

The mix up is nothing short of embarrassing for the company who has been trying go get single vaccines out to people rather then the two part shot process that Moderna or Pfizer has. How did this happen?

The plant is run by Emergent BioSolutions, a manufacturing partner to both Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca, the British-Swedish company whose vaccine has yet to be authorized for use in the United States. Federal officials attributed the mistake to human error", according to the New York Times.

If you have gotten your COVID-19 vaccine Now, you can check out the reported effectiveness rates according to StatNews.com.
