Famous Rochester Brewery Bringing a New Location to Buffalo

Buffalo is known as a city that takes its food and drinks seriously. There is no better city for breweries and bar food than Buffalo, which are busy year-round, although many people make it a point to visit during the warmer weather months.

In the last few years we have seen multiple new breweries come to Buffalo and Western New York, such as Spotted Octopus Brewing Company and Froth Brewing Company.

It's hard to believe more great breweries could be on their way to Western New York but there's a famous Rochester-area one that is about to open a brand new location in the heart of Buffalo.

According to their Facebook page, Mortalis Brewing Company is preparing to open their new brewery location in Buffalo later this summer. They will open at 1250 Niagara Street in Buffalo.

They are currently hiring for the new location, which will hopefully open in the next several weeks.

Mortalis' Rochester area location is in Avon, NY. It's near Consensus and Honeoye Lakes. It's about 10 minutes south of Henrietta, NY, just south of Rochester.

Mortalis specializes in fruited sours and creative creations for their craft beer.

They also serve up some food as well, including a charcuterie board. Their Avon location is open Thursday through Sunday, but no word on how the hours will operate for the new Buffalo location.

It's never a bad day when a new brewery comes to Buffalo. We do have a lot of them, but Mortalis brings a great reputation with them and Niagara Street is a good spot to set up shop.
