National Irish Coffee Day Recipes

The Irish Coffee is a perfect beverage on a cold winter day.  Today January, 25th is National Irish Coffee day.  Since the creation of the original Irish Coffee recipe in the 1940's, there have been other recipes that make Irish Coffee.

Traditional Irish Coffee Recipe:

• 1-1/2 ounce Irish Whiskey
• Brown sugar syrup (1:1 brown sugar to water, heated until dissolved)
  Hot brewed coffee
• Garnish with Whipped Cream
• Serve in mug

Bailey's Irish Coffee Recipe:

•  3/4 ounce Bailey's Irish Cream

  4 ounces hot brewed coffee

  Garnish with Whipped Cream

  Serve in Irish coffee glass

Kahlua and Coffee recipe:

• 3/4 once Kahlua
• 4 ounces hot brewed coffee
• Garnish with Whipped Cream
• Serve in tall Irish coffee glass
