Need A Job? There’s A Drive Thru Job Fair Coming To Cheektowaga

The pandemic has left a lot of people without jobs.  If you're one of those people and you're ready to get back to work, you might want to check this out.

It's a job fair, but it's not like any other job fair you've ever seen.  This one is a drive-thru job fair and it's coming to Cheektowaga.

It's being hosted by Express Employment Professionals and it will feature over 25 employers with over 100 jobs to fill.  The idea is to give employers and potential employees a socially distant opportunity to get back into the workforce.

Look for the job fair next Thursday August 20th from 12-2 at 25 French Rd.

According to WGRZ, most of the jobs are in manufacturing and start at $15.50/hr.

The event is free to attend but job seekers are encouraged to pre-register online at 716jobs.com.

The United States is definitely in a position where we need to get back to working.  According to Trading Economics, unemployment averaged 5.76 percent from 1948 until 2020.  Due mostly to the pandemic, we hit an all time high of 14.70 percent in April of 2020.
