Need To Make Something A Habit? Try The Two Day Rule
Having a hard time making that lifestyle choice to live healthy, make it to the gym, or any thing you want to achieve a habit? Try this new rule.
It's not easy to change your lifestyle but if you want to change your life, it's what you need to do. So how do you stick to that new eating routine, sleep routine or any routine?
There's a video that is blowing up on YouTube from a guy named Matt D'Avella that claims the way to do it is something he calls the Two Day Rule.
So what is it? Well, it's pretty simple. Take whatever habit you want to repeat and make sure you never skip it for more than one day. So if you want to go to the gym more often, only give yourself one day to rest, then get back to it.
I'm not sure why it works. Maybe it's because you're not scheduling things on specific days and making it more a part of your life. Either way, I'm game for trying it. Do you think it would work for you?
