
New York State Law Has Mandated on These Political Flags
New York State has mandates and rules listed for flying certain flags in New York State.
Of course there are the generally accepted rules of the United States flag in New York state that include flying the United States flag above all other flags and flying them at all public buildings such as schools and government buildings among others.
But especially because in recent political years, the mandate has gotten more attention that states that there should be no flags flown with political messaging. According to New York State:
mandating that flags be flown from sunrise to sunset (unless properly illuminated at night), be taken down in inclement weather, and remain free of defacement or political messaging.
Remember when there used to be a time that you never asked people about finances or about who they voted for? And now you just about know everybody's political business, what they stand for and more. Mostly social media is an aid to being a vocal politically nowadays as well.Lots of people over the past few years have had tons of political flags that have generated tons of controversy across New York State.
