Newest Buffalo Bill Already Has Connection To Western New York
Figuring out who has the best wings and what potholes to avoid while driving around town is usually what new draftees of the Buffalo Bills have to figure out their first couple of months here in Western New York.
But a trip to Buffalo is old hat for the newest Buffalo Bills Greg Rousseau.
Rousseau who was selected by the Bills in the 1st round of the NFL draft last night said in a post-draft interview that his parents spend several years in the mid-90s living here in Buffalo and that his older brother was born in Buffalo.
SO WHO IS GREG ROUSSEAU
Not many experts in their mock drafts had Buffalo taking Rosseau in the first round. He opted out of the 2020 season with the University of Miami to help his family during COVID-19.
He did shine on the field in 2019 with the Hurricanes. During that season played in 13 games, recorded 54 total tackles, and had 15.5 sacks.
He can play both inside and outside on the defensive line and using his big frame to impact a football game. He is listed at 6'7" and weighs in at 265 pounds.
He reminds me of former Buffalo Bill Art Stills who was also 6'7". Stills played for the Bills between 1988 and 1989.
We will see who the Bills added to the roster as the NFL draft continues this weekend with rounds two thru seven.
