That was a costly upset loss that the U-B Bulls suffered at Northern Illinois last week.  It was reflected in this week's national college basketball ratings.

Although the Bulls rebounded to beat Kent State on Friday this week's Associated Press poll has the Bulls at Number-18, a drop of four spots from last week.  The Bulls also dropped three spots in the USA Today Coaches poll to Number-17.

Still, U-B has been nationally ranked for 12 straight weeks and that's a record for a Mid American Conference team.

The Bulls host Ball State Tuesday night, then they have a big game Friday at Bowling Green.  U-B and Bowling Green share the lead in the MAC Eastern Conference with identical 6-1 records.
