UB Bulls Get A Bowl Game

They came up short in the Mid American Conference title game, but the UB Bulls will play one more game. The Bulls have been selected to play in the Dollar General Bowl against Troy of the Sun Belt Conference on December 22nd in Mobile, Alabama. 

It's just the third time the Bulls will be playing in a Bowl and they'll be looking for their first victory.  The Bulls lost bowl games in 2013 and 2008.

For Troy, it's their third appearance in the Dollar General Bowl, winning one and losing one.  It'll be the first ever meeting between UB and Troy.

The Bulls enter the game with a 10-3 record while Troy carries a 9-3 record including an upset win over Nebraska on September 15th in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Dollar General Bowl was previously known as the Go Daddy Bowl and the GMAC Bowl.  The game will be televised on ESPN.
