It's a spring-time tradition at the University of Buffalo's Amherst Campus.  The University describes it as a way to "de-stress before exams and bring the UB community together."  It's known as Oozefest and it's really a mess...but it sure is fun.

It started in 1984 and it's held each year in early May.  And with 1500 players it's one of the largest mud volleyball tournaments in the country.   Teams are between 6 and 8 players with each player receiving a t-shirts, snacks, lunch, sponsor gifts and a chance to win prizes.  A portion of the registration fee supports the UB Fund for Student Life.

I got a chance to check out this year's event and here's how it looked.
