The University of Buffalo was the recipient of a $4-million gift on Thursday from an alum.  1976 graduate Stephen Still presented his alma mater the check for future research on the development of transportation systems.

The focus on the research is on environmentally safe systems to move people efficiently while having the least impact on the environment. UB's Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics will be rebranded to include Stills name.  It will now be known as the Stephen Still Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics.

Still worked in the aviation industry and credits UB for setting the foundation for his success in building two successful businesses.
