Opening Day Of Deer Season In WNY Looks Perfect

The snow is coming. But with that is record setting cold air that will impact all of WNY this week.

Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away. But Old Man Winter is creeping in with cold air that may set records by at least 10 degrees!

Deer season for bow-hunters has been going since October 1st. This Saturday brings the start of the "regular" or gun season in New York State.

The good news for deer hunters? The opening day forecast looks like something we would like. At least as of early in the week, the forecast calls for temps to be in the 30s and 40s and sunny afternoons!
