The COVID-19 infection rates in Western New York are currently the highest in the state and it couldn't be worse timing with Thanksgiving in a couple days and Christmas five weeks out.

Restaurants in the orange zone cannot have indoor dining and that is obviously frustrating for many business owners. One in Orchard Park had a message for Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York State on Monday.

According to WKBW, the 'Mangia Ristorante & Caffe' posted a message on their windowfront to Cuomo on Monday. You can see it below.

Orchard Park is one of the parts of Erie County that is currently in the orange zone.

There's a chance those sections of Erie County that are in the orange zone could move to a red zone later this week. That decision is expected to be made by Wednesday.

I know many local businesses are helped by the holiday season, so the timing is unfortunate. It's unclear how long these restriction zones (yellow, orange, red) last and if they will go right through the Christmas holiday.
