This could be the busiest summer for traveling we have seen in the last five years. If you are traveling internationally this summer or over the busy holiday season, be ready for longer lines and, most likely, a few more headaches. Want to make sure you have the proper identification when you travel? Better have a current or new passport.

Here in the Western New York area, there will be a more convenient way to apply for and obtain a new passport and the Erie County Clerk wants to make it easy for you.

According to a news release sent to Townsquare Media, there are "pop-up" style passport locations coming soon.

If you are a first time passport applicant:

Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns announced that his office will be conducting a “Passports on the Move” outreach on Tuesday, July 18th from 5pm to 7pm at the AAA Travel and Insurance Center located at 100 International Drive in Williamsville. A second outreach event is also planned for Tuesday, August 22nd from 5pm to 7pm the AAA Travel and Insurance Center located at 1737 Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda.

This summer will be so much fun around New York State as we get ready for more concerts and festivals. However, if you want to travel to Canada and back, make sure you are ready with the proper paperwork!
