Pegulas Add Hospitality Division To Growing Empire
Pegula Sports and Entertainment is expanding to include a Hospitality Division. The company announced on Monday the company's ever-growing food and beverage properties will all be brought under one umbrella as they look to grow both in and beyond Western New York. nceinga new division of the company that will unite the management of all PSE food and beverage properties and create an organized structure to position the company to pursue additional restaurant and hospitality opportunities in Western New York and beyond.
Company CEO Kim Pegula says they entered the restaurant business with the goal of creating a great sports-themed dining experience in downtown Buffalo. She says once they began working on 716 Food and Sport they wanted to expand.
Dominic Verni has been named to head the new Hospitality Division. He was hired by the Pegulas to create Harbor Center's signature restaurant. Since then the Pegula food and beverage companies have grown to include The Healthy Scratch, The Healthy Scratch Food Truck, Tim Horton's Café and Bake Shop and Deer Valley Trails in the Adirondack Mountains.
Also included in the Pegula Hospitality Division will be the Harbor Center's ice rink concessions and management contracts with Delaware North to provide concessions at New Era Field and KeyBank Center.
Verni says the company is "ready to expand and is actively pursuing several opportunities in Western New York and beyond.”
