It happened in Rochester, NY in May and has just recently become a big topic within social networking sites.  It's the arrest of a woman standing on her own property videotaping a traffic stop.  As a police officer is questioning the motorist his attention turns to the woman with the camera and asks her to go into her house.  She's asked a number of times to go back into her house but she refuses.  The police officer finally arrests her.

I have a number of friends who are police officers and I just can't take sides on this one.  It seems the woman had a right to stand on her property and witness a traffic stop that just happened to take place in front of her own home.  On the other hand the police officer asked her a number of times in a reasonable way to go into her house because he didn't feel safe.  Whether the arrest was legal is another matter - I don't know.

Take a look at the video and you make the call.  It's an interesting one.
