New York State police will be cracking down on underage drinking at outdoor concert venues like Canalside this summer.

Governor Cuomo announced the Operation Prevent program "resulted in 139 people being charged with using a fake ID or someone else’s ID to purchase alcohol in April and May. Officials say 126 fake identifications were also seized," according to WBNG.

In western New York 18 tickets have been issued since May at places like The Steer and Slick’s Willie’s in Tonawanda, says WBNG.

Those caught breaking the law risk having their licenses revoked for at least 90 days.
