2 Popular Buffalo Businesses Are Headed Down South

Both of them are headed down south to operate permanent, new locations! I always feel like these are OUR places, and now we are going to have to share them. Texas is going to be getting their dose of Buffalo, New York when these two Western New York staples open their doors.

Both Rachel's Mediterranean and Tim Horton's are opening up down in Texas.

1.) Rachel's Mediterranean - Fort Worth, Texas

Rachel's is red hot right now in the Buffalo area. They have 12 stores here in Western New York and even more on the way, but they just confirmed their first OUT OF STATE.

The story is kind of cool, too. Two brothers who own Rachel's had an employee who worked at Rachel's for 6 years. He moved down to Texas and said there was nothing like Rachel's down there, so they said heck we will come visit and they decided to open up a Rachel's by him. That will open later in 2022.

A Fort Worth food website, Forth Worth Culture Map, wrote about the new Rachel's coming to their area, and I loved how Rachel's Director of Operations, Brandon Guzda was very 'Buffalo', bragging about Buffalo food:

Guzda doesn't waste words bragging about how good their food and service is, but says they're enthusiastic about coming to Texas.

2.) Tim Horton's - Katy, Texas

Tim Horton's is also heading down to Texas! Not only are they opening up a store in Katy, but there will be 2 more coming to the Houston area later on this year as well. There are over 5,000 Tim Horton's restaurants in the world and over 230 in New York State, which is the most of any state.
