Tim Hortons Makes Huge ‘Roll Up The Rim’ Announcement

The tradition of physically rolling up the rim to get your prizes on the Tim Hortons cups is back for the 40th anniversary of the popular game and it begins today!

Tim Horton's announced that the will go back to the original way to play the contest where you buy your coffee and then see if there is a prize under the rim. In addition, you can still get extra chances to play the contest on the Tim Hortons app.

When does Tim Hortons Roll Up the Rim start in 2026?

The Roll Up The Rim contest starts today on Monday, February 23, 2026 and it goes all the way through March 22, 2026. It is important to note that you have until April 3 to 'roll' all of your digital rolls before they go away. Shortly after that, all small prizes, like coffee and donuts will need to be claimed by April 7, 2026.
