Portions Of Route 93 Will Be Closing For Movie Filming

If you drive route 93 in Akron, you're going to want to be aware that parts of it will be closed from July 15-25.

The movie "A Quite Place 2" is really creating quite the buzz.  According to WIVB, Route 93 will be closed from Buffalo St. to Church St. for 10 days from July 15-25.

There will be a detour that will take you over Clarence Center Rd., Hake Rd., Lewis Rd. and Cedar St.

The film is being directed by John Krasinski from "The Office" and currently, crews are working on Akron’s Main Street, putting up facades in advance of filming.
