Pro Baseball Player’s Tweet About New Era Closing In Derby

A couple hundred people will lose their jobs when New Era closes it's plant in Derby next month.

That doesn't sit well with a few players in Major League Baseball.

New Era makes hats for most major sports and if you watch MLB games, you can't help but see the New Era logo just about everywhere. Apparently some of the players have an emotional tie as well to WNY and don't want the plant to close!
