The Susan G. Koman “Race for the Cure” is coming up June 8 at the Delaware Park Rose Gardens.  Teams will participate in this annual fundraising race/walk to help find a cure for breast cancer.

Someone dies of breast cancer every 69 seconds, and each year the Susan G. Koman “Race for the Cure” promises to do their part to bring awareness of this disease and to help find a cure once and for all.

There are a couple different ways to register, including online by clicking here. Or, if you prefer, you can pick up a Race brochure at your local WNY Ford Dealer or Tops Markets. Pre-registration pricing ends on May 31.

What? You have a graduation, baby shower, or work...or you don't even get out of bed until noon on a Saturday? You can still be a part of the 2013 Komen WNY Race for the Cure and raise needed funds to find the cures – all while still comfy in your jammies!

Sleep In for the Cure® is an opportunity for those who, for whatever reason, are unable to participate on Race day but still wish to show their support.

It is ideal for:

  • People on vacations or out of town at conferences;
  • People who live in outlying areas;
  • People who have a night job (shift work);
  • Or, get creative! Have “Sleep In for the Cure” slumber party, host a breakfast/brunch or take a leisurely walk around your neighborhood.
