Bills Player Won’t Stop; Wants Raising Cane’s in Buffalo

There's no shortage of great restaurants in Buffalo. The number of awesome local places to eat are staggering, whether they're sit-down restaurants or fast food style places.

When it comes to national chain restaurants, Buffalo has the standard ones that every single city and state seems to have.

Chick-fil-A was added just five years ago, after years of Western New York residents wanting one. Now, we have three locations: two in Cheektowaga and one in Hamburg.

However, there are still a few popular fast food places that have yet to come to Buffalo and one Bills player is still leading the charge for trying to get one to Western New York.

Bills long-snapper Reid Ferguson loves to tweet about food. He's tagged Raising Cane's a few times over the last year, wanting them to bring a location to Buffalo.

Ferguson tweeted about a potential Raising Cane's in Buffalo again yesterday, saying that Buffalo needs one.

Raising Cane's serves up a relatively small menu, but they excel at the items they do have; chicken tenders, crinkle fries, Texas toast and coleslaw. There's also the Cane's sauce, which is the same popularity as Chick-fil-A sauce.

The closest Raising Cane's location is in Ohio but they recently opened their first New York City location recently. The hope is that the southern-based food chain makes its way to Buffalo in the next several years.

Bills fullback Reggie Gilliam is another player who has tweeted his love for Raising Cane's and wants one in Buffalo.
