Two Bills Players Leading Charge to Bring Raising Cane’s to WNY?
The Buffalo Bills are back at it for a Sunday Night Football game this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
It's been eight years since Green Bay was in town to play the Bills, with the last one taking place in 2014; when Kyle Orton was the Bills starting quarterback and Mario Williams dominated Aaron Rodgers.
The Bills are 5-1 and even though we obviously love them on the field, they're also a load of fun off the field as well.
Isaiah McKenzie, Stefon Diggs, Tre'Davious White, Von Miller, Dion Dawkins and Dawson Knox (among others) are fun follows off the field.
Fullback Reggie Gilliam and long-snapper Reid Ferguson are also great off the field, with fun personalities.
If you remember back in August, Gilliam took to Twitter to profess his love for the chicken tender fast food chain, Raising Cane's, and wanting a location in Buffalo.
Raising Cane's responded that they may not be in Buffalo "yet."
During the bye week, Ferguson tweeted out his meal at Raising Cane's and tagged Gilliam, who is a huge Raising Cane's fan.
The closest Raising Cane's locations near Buffalo are in Ohio.
But Raising Cane's is coming to New Jersey, so it's logical to think they will continue to expand and come to Western New York eventually.
Buffalo loves its local restaurants but we don't exactly have a wide array of national fast food chains. Chick-fil-A came in 2018 and hopefully more chains open new locations in Western New York in the future.
