Recipe: You’re Going To Want To Make This Sand Pail Drink ALL Summer Long
Hmmmm. I think it will only take one of these to get the job done. What do you think? LOL
Introducing: The Pail Drink
People have a lot of extra time on their hands and of course, have been not going to as many bars, so some have gotten creative. Have you seen the video below floating on Facebook? The person who posted the video to TikTok eventually made it to Facebook, and their pail drink idea was getting ALL the attention. The drink they made included Malibu, pineapple, orange juice, cherries, pineapple, ice and of course the best part: the upside down Smirnoff red, white and berry edition.
Of course, you can put YOUR favorite drink in here. My wife and I did this at the beach, we put one of our favorite's in there: THE KENNY COOLER. It's a Kenny Chesney Classic that he has a recipe for with his alcohol line, called Blue Chair Bay Rum (Yes, there is a drink like this at the Texas Roadhouse). This is the way that we make it, though.
The Kenny Cooler:
-1 1/4 ounce Blue Chair Bay coconut rum
-3/4 ounce peach schnapps
-1/2 ounce blue curacao
-1/2 ounce sweet and sour
-6 ounce lemonade
-6 ounces of Sprite (or less depending on taste)
-a few cherries and some oranges if you want
If you're not interested in the Kenny Cooler, here's Val's favorite drink that she would put in her beach pail: The Sangria. Here is the way Val says she makes hers:
-Spanish red wine (for the pail you'll need the whole bottle)
-4 ounces Brandy
-chopped fruit of your choice
-simple syrup (splash to taste)
-Don't forget your cinnamon stick!
Feel free to share your favorite drink that you'd put in there, too!
