
Possible Record High Temperature Could Be Set In Buffalo
How hot has it been in Buffalo lately? Hot enough to set a possible record today.

The current record for a High Temperature for May 12th is 86 degrees and that was set back in 1992.
WGRZ's Patrick Hammer this morning called for the area to get close to that record with possibly breaking it if the conditions remain right.

Starting on Monday after a weekend of rain and thunderstorm we will see a major cooldown across the region. Rain will continue on Monday and Tuesday and with the highs in the low 60s. The temperatures will remain in the 60s all next week.
The is a huge drop of nearly 20 degrees for our high temperature in Western New York. We will remain in the 60s for most of next week which the possibility of hitting the low 70s by next weekend.
According to Accuweather.com, it doesn't look like we will hit the 80s again until the end of June. Lots of mid-70s and rain and thunderstorms are on tap for the month of June.
