Red Cross Offering Amazon Gift Cards For Type O Blood Donations

The Red Cross is experiencing a shortage of Type O blood, and are offering Amazon gift cards to those who donate.

WIVB reports the Red Cross is giving donors of blood and platelets a $5 Amazon gift card via email.

The Red Cross says they are at a critical shortage of Type O, with less than a two-day supply for emergency rooms.
