It's been an emotional couple days in Boston, and it showed in last night's Sabres game against Boston that regardless of where you come from, what you do and who you root for, tragedies like the Boston Marathon bring people in this country together.

I don't think I can say it any better than Dale did:

"It was a chance for the people of Boston to show they will not be defeated by evil.  It was a chance for the whole country to begin the healing process after the Boston Marathon bombings."

My good friend and Sabres Video Coach, Corey Smith, called in after the Buffalo Sabres landed back home to talk about how emotional of a night it was in TD Garden.

17,565 people cried and sang loud and proud during "The Star-Spangled Banner" right after a video tribute to people who were killed and injured during the Boston Marathon.
