Jonas Enroth made 26 saves in a shootout win over Tampa Bay [Getty Images][/caption]They're not supposed to be playing like this.  All of a sudden the Buffalo Sabres have won six of their last seven games.  Tuesday night at First Niagara Center they held the highest scoring team in the NHL to just one goal and beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in a shootout 2-1.

The Lightning got on the board first midway thru the third period, but Zemgus Girgensons scored his 8th goal of the season with under four minutes left to play to tie it and force overtime, then a shootout.  Cody Hodgson and Tyler Ennis both scored in the shootout while Jonas Enroth stopped both Tampa Bay shooters and it was good enough to give the Sabres their second straight shootout win.

Making his sixth straight start, Enroth was terrific in goal stopping 26 shots, many of them tough ones.

So that's three straight wins against conference-leading teams.  They play the Lightning again Thursday night in Tampa Bay.
