If you couldn't make it out to the Buffalo-famous YMCA Turkey Trot, here is your next chance to get in on some of the fun.

The winner of the 2023 Turkey Trot did the entire route in just about 25 minutes. If you are doing the math, that is about 5-minute miles with 14,000 people around you (or maybe not if you are always in first place, I guess).

There are some really fun Christmas-themed races coming up in Western New York! Put these ones on your calendar and dress warm.

  • Saturday, December 16, 2023 - Santa Stampede at Fleet Feet Buffalo! (2290 Delaware Ave)

In case you are done running and doing some of the fun races this year and looking forward to next year, here is the 2024 date of the Shamrock Run in downtown Buffalo! When is Buffalo's Shamrock Run 2024?

The 46th annual Shamrock Run will be on March 2, 2024. The price is 40 bucks per person and you can do it right online. The price will increase after February 25, 2024. If you only want to do the virtual race, the price is 35 bucks. Here is where you can sign up.

The race is the one that you are familiar with and will shut down Michigan, Seneca, and others in the Old First Ward. Of course, when you sign up you are able to go into the beer tent where they have music and as many beers as your Irish heart can drink.
