Shania Twain To Produce New Movie Based On Best-Selling Book Series

Shania Twain will be adding movie executive producer to her resume as she announced that she will be producing a movie based on the New York Times best-selling author Debbie Macomber.

Twain took to Twitter to make the announcement. She said that the movie will be about the "Heart of Texas" book series. The series is made up of 8 different books and the first book was released in 1998.

The book series is based on the fictional town of Promise, Texas, a place that has its fair share of secrets.

Based on the Tweet, it seems that Shania might also write some of the music for the movie soundtrack.

No word yet on when the movie will be released.
