There is an incredible show happening for free at this year‘s Erie County Fair and it is tonight at the Gusto Grandstand on the Hamburg Fairgrounds!

It was unfortunate to hear that legendary country superstar, Mark Chestnut, had to pull out of this year‘s Erie County Fair because of a back issue. Thankfully surgery went well and Marc is on the mend. However that left an opening at the Erie County Fair organizers had to fill. And it was the super group of the 1980s and 90s in country music, Shanandoah, that got the call!!

Shanandoah is one of the all-time greatest groups and country music. Not only for their excellent harmony, but also for the upbeat and energetic songs that they delivered over the course of what many feel are the best two decades and country music.

I put together a list of some of the songs you may want to learn if you are planning on attending tonight‘s show at the Erie County Fair. The show is free with your paid admission and I suggest you bring your kids if you feel they are old enough to hang out for the show. Shannondoah‘s music crosses many generations and would be a great show for a kid’s first concert.

Marty Raybon, lead singer of the band Shanandoah, still has one of the most impressive voices in the industry. Make sure that you stick around for the entire show and don’t forget about that great firework show that follows Erie County Fair daily activities.

This will be the final country show of the Erie County Fair after an impressive lineup of Jon Pardi and Sawyer Brown the last couple of days.

It has been a great Erie County Fair so far and the crowds have been strong. Free parking and great weather have combine to bring people back after a year that kept us all home because of the pandemic in 2020.

Enjoy tonight show and sing along with these great tunes from Shenandoah!
