Shot And Chaser Vaccine Clinics Continue In Erie County This Week
Erie County Department of Health's new program to get more people the COVID-19 vaccine has become a huge hit. This past weekend, the county had around 150 people show up to Resurgence Brewery to take part in the program.
WHAT IS THE SHOT AND CHASER PROGRAM?
It is a program developed by the Erie County Health Department where they teamed up with local breweries and restaurants to give away a free drink after you get the COVID-19 vaccination.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It is very simple. You sign up to make an appointment during one of the "Shot and Chaser" pop-up clinics and after you get your dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, you get a coupon for a free drink to be redeemed when you want with in a certain time frame.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
You can make your appointment to take part in the "Shot and Chaser" program online at the Erie County Department of Health's website. You can register while the appointment lasts HERE. The "Shot and Chaser" program is a first come first serve program and while you can walk in without an appointment, you aren't guaranteed to get the vaccine. Appointments are strongly recomended.
WHEN IS THE NEXT "SHOT AND CHASER" CLINIC?
The next clinic is coming up on Wednesday, May 12th at Flying Bison brewery. The clinic will be open from 2 pm until 7:45 pm. You can register for an appointment HERE.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT ON THE 12TH, WILL THERE BE OTHER "SHOT AND CHASER" CLINICS?
There two other clinics on the schedule for Saturday, May 15 at Steelbound Brewery in Springville, and at Thin Man/Tappo. These clinics are not yet on the Erie County Department of Health's appointment page. Make sure to double to a day or two before signing up for your appointment.
