Alabama is considering making it a requirement to take a Drug Test and test negative in order to receive food stamps.  But does that make a whole lot of sense since Marijuana is headed towards legalization in pretty much every Stated in the Union?

What's your take on this?  Should there be a requirement to Drug Test and be clean in order to eat?  That is what it all boils down to.  Personally, I don't see how it should have any bearing on whether you can get assistance with providing food for yourself or family if you are in need.  There's no test for Alcohol in your system and alcohol is far more destructive than say marijuana.
