Seeing that May is skin cancer awareness month, I figured to pop this one on you!  According to the American Cancer Society, melanoma skin cancer is on the rise, especially in the state of New Jersey.  Now, I understand that New Jersey is home to many "fist pumping Italians" , which could have led to the increase...LOL...Just kidding my Italian/Sicilian people.  I can joke like that cuz I am Sicilian!  But really, look at all of the reality shows that feature these "orange characters"  Ex.-The Jersey Shore, Jerseylicious, Real Housewives of NJ.....In almost all of these shows the people bake in these tanning beds!  They put such an emphasis on.... having good skin color even if it means possibly damaging your health.  So, in a response to the rise in melanoma a group is urging lawmakers in New Jersey as well as New York, to pass a bill that would ban teens under the age of 18 from using tanning booths/beds.  Some say letting minors tan is just as dangerous as letting them smoke cigarettes.  How do you feel about this?  Would you be opposed to a ban like this in Buffalo?
