After multiple accidents involving pedestrians, Niagara Falls Boulevard speed limits may be changing.

Many of the accidents occur when people try to cross multiple lanes of traffic. Especially during heavy traffic times.

According to metro Source News:

Officials suggest lowering the speed limit from 45 miles an hour to 40 miles an hour along the stretch of road from Interstate 290 and the Niagara County line.

You may also see new signs that are bigger, brighter and indicate areas such as buss stops and crosswalks .
