Stamp Out Hunger This Saturday

The National Association of Letter Carriers 27th annual food drive to Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is this Saturday, May 11th.  Each year on the second Saturday in May the letter carriers lend their support to a food drive to refill the nation's food banks and pantries and they depend on you to help.

There are an incredible number of people in our country that don't get enough food to eat and many depend on food banks and federal programs to get the right nutrition.

You can make a donation simply by filling a bag with non-perishable food items, preferably cans and packaged foods, and leave the bag at your mailbox before your regular mail delivery on Saturday.  Your postal carrier will pick up your donation and it will be delivered to local food banks and pantries.
