Stefon Diggs Tweet About the Snowstorm Speaks to Buffalo
The Buffalo Bills are scheduled to leave tomorrow afternoon for Detroit, to play the Cleveland Browns for their Sunday game at 1 pm.
The game was originally scheduled for 1 pm this Sunday at Orchard Park, but because of the lake effect snowstorm, which has dumped over 50 inches of snow in less than 24 hours in suburbs just south of the City of Buffalo, the game was moved to save community resources and keep fans safe.
Many people, who don't live in Western New York and have never experienced lake effect snowstorms such as this, have posted their disappointment to not get to see an ultimate snow game in Orchard Park.
Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs quote tweeted a Bills tweet that shows all the snow that has fallen at Highmark Stadium.
Diggs' tweet evoked sarcasm to those people who are screaming this storm is "football weather."
I love a good snow game but to a certain degree. In no way would I want the Bills or any NFL team playing a regular season game in this weather. It was a great decision to move the game out of Orchard Park for so many reasons.
The Bills won't have edge rusher Greg Rousseau, linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and cornerback Tre'Davious White. All were ruled out by head coach Sean McDermott on Friday morning.
White is no longer on the injury report but McDermott said he's "not ready to play." Nobody outside of One Bills Drive really knows what the hold up is with White getting back into game action.
The Bills only have four wide receivers healthy for this game: Diggs, Gabe Davis, Isaiah McKenzie and Khalil Shakir.
Chances are, they elevate someone like Tanner Gentry from the practice squad on Saturday to play in this game on Sunday.
