Stefon Diggs Has Words for Packers Cornerback Jaire Alexander
The Buffalo Bills are currently in the midst of their week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers at Highmark Stadium. The game is the third prime time game for Buffalo this season already.
It's always cool to see the stadium go dark and cellphone cameras on. That's what happened before Sunday Night Football and the energy was palpable, even more that as the players head out onto the field for pregame warmups.
Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs got into it with Packers top cornerback Jaire Alexander before the game.
It happened when the Packers went out onto the field for pregame warmups. Diggs ran with the Packers and had some choice words for Alexander, with Alexander also having words for Diggs.
The drama between Diggs and Alexander carried over into the game, with more words exchanged after certain plays, and Alexander pushing Diggs' helmet down when Diggs and two Packers defenders were trying to recover a fumble.
It was very evident that the Packers and Jaire Alexander in particular made it an effort to get in the Bills heads.
Diggs said after the game that he didn't know why Alexander and him went back and forth and had an all-time quote.
"I don't give a f**k who started it, I finished it," said Diggs.
Diggs added that things will get chippie as the season goes on.
Alexander and the Packers deciding to celebrate as a team defense after an interception, despite trailing by 17 points with a quarter remaining, was definitely interesting.
In the end, Diggs and the Bills won this battle.
