Folksy Scouts has only been around for about a year and it is unique because it is a modern-day, co-ed scout troop that teaches children skills and values that will help them navigate through the real world and adulthood.

The Girl Scouts say that their research indicates that girls "thrive in an environment where they can experiment, take risks and stretch themselves in the company of other girls."  But doesn't that very statement give credence to the opportunity that girls might have as a member of the Boy Scouts?

The snow is back on the forecast for this weekend's Klondike Derby! Hundreds of Boy Scouts from the area will camp out this weekend and participate in games and activities geared toward winter survival and fun!

Clay, Dale and Liz headed to Camp Schoellkopf to hang out with Boy Scouts of America on the final day of camp in the 2016 season. From songs in the food line to a camp singalong to a random bugle performance, it was a musical morning.

Dale has never been to summer camp. Ever. Clay, Dale and Liz headed to hang out with local Boy Scouts on the last day of camp for the group, and Dale took the chance to learn the art of knot tying.

If you listen to Clay, Dale and Liz, you probably know or at least strongly suspect that Dale LOVES food. But how much does he really love it? A lot. A lot, a lot.
