The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area Foundation truly set the bar for themselves. In fulfilling the dream of 5-year-old Miles, an epic Batman fan in remission from leukemia, the organization transformed San Francisco into a modern-day Gotham City on Friday and called on Miles to come save the day.

Years ago, former Buffalo Sabre Rob Ray and I hosted many motorcycle runs for the Make-A-Wish foundation of Western New York. We raised quite a bit of money back in the day for this wonderful organization. Now, Make-A-Wish is back with another ride for charity.

If you have been listening to WYRK for a long time, then you know about my affiliation with Make-A-Wish. Years ago I used to do an annual motorcycle run with Buffalo Sabre Rob Ray which always raised thousands for the charity.
