This is the kind of news you need to read this week! Western New York's Make-A-Wish and Sunbeam Service Experts together granted a wish to one young man who became emotional Thursday morning.

Meet Noah from East Aurora. His wish was to get the truck of his dreams.

Noah nearly lost his life at the age of 10 when he suffered a heart attack while in swim class. Now 20, he still suffers from a critical side effects and receives lifesaving treatment at Children’s Heart Center at Strong in Rochester. Outside of the hospital, Noah enjoys creating music, his hometown of East Aurora and is studying automotive mechanics in hopes of becoming a trained mechanic. It was no surprise when Noah wished for a transformation to his truck. The wish includes a lift, a grill, a sound system, rims and new tires. As a surprise to Noah, a car parade has been organized with Noah’s loved ones helping to reveal the truck makeover. To further inspire, Noah’s hero – the coach who pulled him from the pool when he suffered a heart attack as a young boy – will stand by for the reveal when Noah receives the keys to his revamped truck. We look forward to an emotional reunion.

Through the wish, Make-A-Wish added a new sound system, a lift, grill, new tires and rims to his previously owned truck. When he saw the truck he exclaimed, “I told everyone I wasn’t going to cry, but here I am with tears in my eyes. This is unbelievable…and incredible.”

The folks that make this happen in Western New York at Make-A-Wish are some of the most humbling, inspiring people in our community and, without a doubt, part of the reason, Buffalo is called the City of Good Neighbors.
