The fourth positive rabies case has been reported in Niagara County.

The Erie County Health Department with support from Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society are happy to announce a free rabies clinic today.

If you see things falling from the sky you're not crazy. Erie and Niagara County will be participating in the Wildlife Oral Rabies Vaccination Program.

It's something the SPCA of Erie County has to do on a regular basis because of well-meaning people who do more harm because of the actions they take.  The SPCA again is warning people not to touch injured or abandoned wild animals because they could have rabies.

A rabies positive bat was found in a house in East Aurora last week. While that might not be shocking in itself, it should cause some concern for pet owners in the area.
